First Aid Fun Day

A free four and a half hour course designed for youth ages 13 through 18. Students will learn first aid training without CPR. The class is designed to teach bleeding control and treatment of burns, fractures, strains, sprains, seizures, shock, heat and cold emergencies and poisoning. Recipients receive a certificate in Basic First Aid good for three years. To sign up club members, click the icon on the left. Space is limited. The event will take place on December 2, 2007 at the chapter. There are two time slots available for this event: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM or 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Contact Amy Lin with any questions.

BAT Class

In this lively course targeted for children grades 4-6, children will learn basic First Aid and personal safety skills including: how to recognize an emergency, how to get help, how to control bleeding, how to perform rescue breathing, and first aid for nosebleeds, bites, bruises, choking, and fractures.  Students will also learn all about fire safety, water safety, and what to do for poisoning.
